A discussion group for those actively involved in research into, or applications of, biomagnetism and magnetoencephalography (MEG). Continuing in the tradition of the first biomagnet host, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, which was followed by a host maintained by CTF Systems Inc. in Coquitlam BC, Canada, this is an electronic forum for discussion of topics in biomagnetism and for maintaining a database for archival and dissemination of shared information.

Major events in biomagnetism attended by many members of this group are the Biomag conference held every two years (next meeting is Biomag 2008 in Sapporo, August 25-29, 2008) and Human Brain Mapping (next is HBM 2009 in San Francisco in June '09). There is also a relatively new conference, the International Society for the Advancement of Clinical Magnetoencephalography (ISACM), next one will be in Greece in 2009.
