Hi Richard,

Many thanks for the info, very interesting. The camera went off to Nikon today
so will add a
posting when they respond. If it is the FOC, Nikon will certainly learn of my
displeasure at
their former 'flagship camera' only lasting 3&1/2 years and 44K actuations. Have
heard that a
sensor replacement is in the region of £1200, therefore writing the camera off
totally.
