Just to let everybody know, Nikon have sent me a repair estimate to
replace the image sensor unit which will cost a total of £1125.34.
Needless to say, I've declined the offer and whilst the suggestion of
trying Fixation for the repair is much appreciated, I won't biother
as I can't imagine any company replacing the image sensor for between
£400 and £600 which in my opinion would be the maximum amount worth
spending on the camera. Cheers all.
