Hi, I'm doing the following survey study for one of my psychology
courses. I still am in great need of participants. If you have 10
spare minutes, could you please read the information below and
complete the survey for me?

The Effect of Birth Order on Personality and Interpersonal Relationships

Welcome to "The Effect of Birth Order on Personality and Interpersonal
Relationships," a web-based experiment that examines how one's birth
order affects one's personality. Before taking part in this study,
please read the consent form below and only continue if you understand
the statements and freely consent to participate in the study.
Consent Form

This study involves a web-based experiment designed to understand the
effect of birth order on one's personality and interpersonal
relationship style. No deception is involved, and the study involves
no more than minimal risk to participants (i.e., the level of risk
encountered in daily life). In this study you will complete a
questionnaire concerning the strategies you use for studying for an
exam in a science course. There are 25 questions, and we estimate it
will take about fifteen to twenty minutes to complete. Some
demographic information is collected as well. You are free to not
answer any question, to stop participating at any time without
penalty, and to not have this survey be part of the data set. All
questionnaires are anonymous, and the forms will be kept confidential
by the researcher.

All responses are treated as confidential, and in no case will
responses from individual participants be identified. Rather, all data
will be pooled and published in aggregate form only. We have no way of
knowing who replied with what answers, so please answer as truthfully
as possible. Participants should be aware, however, that the
experiment is not being run from a "secure" https server of the kind
typically used to handle credit card transactions, so there is a small
possibility that responses could be viewed by unauthorized third
parties (e.g., computer hackers).

Many individuals find participation in this study enjoyable, and no
adverse reactions have been reported thus far. Participation is
voluntary, refusal to take part in the study involves no penalty or
loss of benefits to which participants are otherwise entitled, and
participants may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty
or loss of benefits to which they are otherwise entitled.

If participants have further questions about this study or their
rights, or if they wish to lodge a complaint or concern, they may
contact the principal investigator, at psychexperimentor@...
