Even though the original intent of this group was to provide a place where
members could discuss blindness issues, it rapidly became clear after starting
the group, that discussing topics dealing with normal every day life was the
real purpose of the group.

We are a group of folks who like to discuss a variety of topics and have
no real hindrance of subject matter.

Whatever your interest, we probably have at least one member who would like
to discuss it with you, even if you prefer just general chat.

Of secondary importance is the fact that we all share a common interest, and
that is blindness and blindness issues.

While the majority of members are blind, the members themselves do not dwell
on it and it is not apparent to the casual reader of the archives.

Membership is open to anyone, sighted or not, we probably will not ask, and
if you do not wish to tell, that is fine with us.
