My blog is at http://pastexpiry.blogspot.com/
Problem is that the last 3 or 4 posts I have sent in blogger will show
up in feedburner only as a partial post (just the title and a few
words). My blogger settings are set to FULL FEED. I have looked for
the republish button, but apparently I am in the new blogger (beta?).
I have search the help groups for HOURS and cannot find anything
related to this other than going into my blogger settings and trying
"FULL FEED" which I have done several times. My content is mostly
images, so I will lose subscribers if I just send them these partial
posts with no images (just links). The problem started after the
August 12th post.
Roz,
It seems as if Chris has done the job of pointing you in the right direction
for reporting to Google.
I'm also sharing this with a contact at Yahoo, also...

If any of his web pages appear in Google results (the Google Index),
you can report him to Google for stealing your content.
They won't necessarily close the site down unless he is also on a
Blogspot (or other Google web server).
If he isn't on Blogspot, once Google have assured themselves that he
is stealing content, his web site entries will be removed from the
Google index.
(Be warned, this is not an instant process and can take ages).

His site would be the "scraper site".
A scraper site is one that 'steals' or 'scrapes' content from other
sites to use as their own. (So to you and me, it means stealing
content from other sites).
You can also report him to Adsense. If he is using 'scraped' content,
then Adsense will investigate and terminate his account, withhold or
claim back any monies paid.

Thanks Chris...
It's odd since I removed the thief from my group and told the other group
that he was stealing from NOT ONE thing has been posted there.
He has it all set up with Google Ads and RSS Feeds and all, but is NOT
doing anything, but stealing content.
I have the email address he used and am going to send a post asking that he
REMOVE my stolen content. If nothing else those visiting his site will see
that he stole it. That would certainly embarrass me if it were me! (That is
unless he changes it before I do it.)

Apologies if you see this multiple times.
For some reason, I can't reply via my mail client at the moment so I
am reply via the browser method.
To report content theft by someone on a Blogspot blog, use the
following link:
http://help.blogger.com/?page=contact
Click the "Report a terms of sevice violation" and then select the
appropriate option.
To report spam to Google (if your content is being found in the Google
index on the scraper site),
use the following link:

Hi Vincent:
Where does one find where to write to the at Yahoo, Google, Blogger and
Blogspot.
I have an attorney on retainer and can ask them to write for me if it is
not taken down. It might get taken down sooner.
I have the guys email address that he used so I would imagine if I wrote a
message to his blog asking him to take my content down it would appear on
his blog for the world to see. When I removed him, my exit survey went to
his blog.
Thanks for the response.
BTW, how did you find out about it.
I am subscribed to Google Alerts for certain works and the alert came in
with those words. It just happened to be something that *I* wrote on my
list and then I went to investigate.

Hi, Roz,
I experience the same thing on www.MyLinkedinPowerForum.com which is housed
on Yahoo Groups.
The splogger signed up and posted all my content to his blogspot account.
I evicted him from the group and temporarily suspended the group's RSS
feed. I also reported it to Yahoo and Google/Blogger/Blogspot.
That was a few days ago.
The blog has yet to be taken down.
You'd think that Google would want to protect its AdSense program more
aggressively...

Hi:
I discovered that someone signed up their BlogSpot.com blog to my web
development group on YahooGroups.com and all the messages from the time
they signed up now appear on their blog.
Besides removing the person which I did and made sure that my message about
copyright infringement appeared on their blog what can I do to contact
BlogSpot.com, Blogger.com and Google.com
Hope this makes sense.
I want my content off their Blog. I also want them closed down!

Brilliant, as usual, Chris. That worked perfectly. Thanks so much!
I'm using Explorer 7. I have Firefox but I don't like it as much. I
really hate typing in all that info every time I go into my dashboard
and for some reason the auto fill feature works elsewhere but not on
the blogger. Hmm. What could be causing that?
Thanks again :-) Would wish you Happy Fourth of July but I know
you're across the waters! Sigrid

Hi Sigrid... great to hear from you again...
I *think* that your old blog although now on blogger2, uses the old style
template.
When you set up your sisters blog, you selected the new template style.
In technical speak, the new templates use a different set of standards.
They are meant to be more 'more compliant'.
(That's a very very short non-technical description above. If anyone wants
the full blown technical reasons, email me off-list or start a new thread).
It's the line:
"<img src= <http://www.nextgenstats.com/cgi-bin/statsplus.pl?>
http://www.nextgenstats.com/cgi-bin/statsplus.pl?187823615>
It probably needs to be terminated with a back slash
<img src="http://www.nextgens
<http://www.nextgenstats.com/cgi-bin/statsplus.pl?187823615>
tats.com/cgi-bin/statsplus.pl?187823615"/>"
Note the /> rather than > at the end of the line
It's similar to whether you should use <br> or <br />
It's basically to do with something called DTD (Document Type Definitions).
The old blogger used one format, the new templates use a different format.
(So if you cut and paste code from an old template into a new template, it
might not be 'standards' compliant and therefore cause a few errors).
Mainly for others:
If you want to read up more on the subject, try the following links:
http://htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/doctype.html (Just tells you what the
various definitions are).
http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/ (You'll get a headache from this one)
As to your logging in problem. Which browser do you use ?
Regards
Chris

I just made a blog for my sister at

I will second the motion that you are not being paranoid.
This is yet another chance for you to teach and re-teach "internet safety"
to your students. Some kids need to hear things over and over and over until
it sinks in, it is typical.
Good luck!

I've replied off-list to your other mail and won't cover it again here.
Personally, I don't think you are being over-sensitive or paranoid.
It's an unfortunate age we live in these days and you can't be careful
enough.

Thank you both for the replies. Yes Christine, they're putting (some
of them) the email address in the comments field.
I'm probably being over-sensitive and paranoid, but it's best to play
safe.

Depending on the template, you *should* be able to remove the tag that
prints out the email address in the comment.
If you email me the blog address (off-list if you prefer), I'll have a
quick look at the template you are using.
Another option might be to make the blog closed membership, and only
add the children in the class as members. (Although this might mean
signing up each child for a gmail account which some parents might
object to). This would only work if you intend the blog only to be
for the childrens viewing and not for general population as well.

Chris

Yes, I believe that when you go to EDIT your post, you can click the button on
the bottom that will open up 'more options' and you'll see the DATE and TIME.
There you can adjust it to whatever you'd like.
Hope this helps.

Hi, Do you mean they are putting their emails inside of the free text
comment box with whatever else they are saying? If that is the case you
cannot edit what they say as the moderator or blog owner.
If you are speaking of each child having their own blogger profile/account
then what you can do is within each account you have an option to allow a
person to email them or to not be able to email them. One issue is if a
person chooses to get email (as mine does) then a person can click on it,
read the email, take it/save it and not ever send an email. So if that is
what you are doing then YES you can change each profile of theirs to not get
email. You can also hide their profiles too.

Hi - hope someone can help.
Is it possible to hide email addresses left in comments? I set up a
blog for the children in my class and I'm concerned about their
privacy. I have a message on the comments page advising them not to
leave details but of course, they don't all read it.
For the moment the best I can do is choose moderation - then ask them
to re-send without posting their details - but given the concern about
child safety online, surely there's a better way?
I tried updating a couple of posts and after previewing, published
it. But when I go into the blog to check it, the posting is there,
but the part I added, isn't. In the Edit post screen, when I view
the post, the part I added is there. But not on the blog.
I kept "publishing", signing out and signing in. Didn't work, until
I signed in a third time.
This happened a couple of months ago too. Anyone know what this is
all about?
Thanks.

Hi,
We just launched a new service called ClickComments. It can be
installed on BlogSpot blogs in three clicks if you upgraded your
