Join the event if you are planning on attending so we can get an idea of how
many heads well see there. We hope that every one is able to attend the first
official Star Party of the site. I myself will be bringing two telescopes for
with solar filters for viewing, and I know that we will have others that have
telescopes for this event that they will be letting people use. I have posted a
DYI video on how to make a simple solar filter for your telescope if you need to
make one. They are reasonably inexpensive and easy to make with some house hold
items and some Mylar or Baader Astro-solar film, all can be purchases on line..

Be nice to get to see every one from the group in one place until then ill be
keeping the Facebook pages updated with what events we plan to have in the
