Using a MacBook Pro (has built-in iSight) running OS X 10.5.2 and
Books 3.1.8.

I am unable to read the BarCode from my books.
I do get a screen with the red lines but the code is not recognized.

Am I missing something?

You're not missing anything. The problem is the combination of Books and the built-in iSight. I'll post a note when I have something fixed. -Chris PS....
