published so the sample tests actually turned out to be of minimal use in this
case. Fortunately the new “simulations” in the test were very
straight forward and I actually did quite well on them. I think that is
why I was able to pass the exam.

took the 70-431 exam and I am planning to come by on Monday and talk about my
experience with the book the group had talked about using, the three exams in
one book. I definitely have some thoughts on that book versus the MS
Press book as I had, and attempted to use, both books.

The book is too new to have any reliable reviews yet. I found the first
to reviews to be highly suspect given that they said:
"... I read the book for exam 70-528 first,
which is for ASP.NET 2.0. It is
nicely written"
".. books published by Microsoft press is
always fantastic."

The vouchers Abe had expired yesterday, and I could
probably use another one in the next 2 or 3 weeks or so.
The training kit books I have come with a 15%
discount voucher, but I would hope I could do a bit better than that.
Apparently the Microsoft Second Shot program has
also expired.
One last question: when do we start the next topic?
