Hey!

I just found this list and was wondering if anyone had copies of the
Schwartz
Bros. soap dish, or the Spiderman grabber hands for Crow available?
I have
access to Vacuform Tyco Turbo Trains, and the Eveready flashlight
hoods for
Tom Servo as well. (I'm sending pics in two seperate attachemnts so
AOL
doesn't convert them to .MIM files

Looking forward to talking shop!

Hi how much would yu want for a set of servo hoods. I am just
starting out so I wont be of any use to trade for.

Tell your buddy if he really found the real "Boo Bowl", he should try and get
as many as possible! It's a rare one, indeed. Also an old bowl made by Decor
Industries, was an exact replica. Find some of those as well and you're in
the money! Also contact Tom at (hermes@...), and he will give you a
fellow bot builders name who has come across a really close replica.

Thanks,

Not so much hard actually, as time consuming- You have to back it with clay,
embedding it halfway, clean up every single edge for a clean seam, pour your
silicone on one half, then when that cures, strip off the clay and any oily
residue, then finally pour silicone on the other side. The part that really
gives me the heebie jeebies though, is the thought of actually casting them
as bubble-free as possible. I do however use a really strong resin similar
to the stuff plastic lawn furniture is made out of, so whenever I do get one,
they'll be plenty strong enough!

Dearest brother of mine, to write a protest letter you must write it and let
everybody sign it with their names and where they live. Something like this:
(Don't use this actually letter, Matthew... even though you've been known to
do that...)

To whom this may concern,
We recently found out you at Sci-fi channel are cancelling Mystery Sciene
Theater 3000 (Or, MST3k). Your reason: not enough viewers. Do you know why you
have no viewers? 1) Because you screwed up the time. Honestly, you must have
been getting more viewers when it was on Saturday @ 11:00 but you changed it
to Saturday sometime in the morning or whatever and Sunday. This ruined your
saturday night aduience. 2) You keep showing the same stupid episodes. Yes,
some of them are classics, okay, agreed. But how much can we take of Jack
Frost? Or Space Children or whatever episodes you keep playing over and over.
You say you do that because you don't have any episodes. Get some rights to
show some older ones or the guys at BBI have some new episodes. Use them. Down
below are people who want to keep this show on Sci-fi channel. God only knows,
you will lose more viewers if you take this off the year. You'd lose my
brother. Yesterday when he found out he said... and I quote "I don't think I'm
ever watching Sci-fi channel again!"
I hope you take this letter into some concerteraion.

See? Something like that. You know I'm not the biggest fan of MST but I know
you love it. Try writing a letter to them with lots of names instead of just a
bunch of small letters.

Personally, it doesn't surprise me, judging by the rest of Sci-Fi's
programming.
They always seem to be willing to dump anything decent and keep the crap
they normally try to subject us to on a daily basis.
Actually, I don't even watch the damn station except for the Sat. and Sun.
airings of MST3K.
I like Sci-Fi, but c'mon....
I never found Lost in Space that interesting when it was in syndication.
I guess "Caption This" will go down in flames along with the show,
and with that my sight.

I can't beleive the Sci-Fi channel is doing this! I think MST3K could
run forever if it would just stay on one network for long enough. I plan on
writting a letter to those morons at SciFi.

I know what you Mean! I take a long plastic bag like a bread bag (Empty of
course!)
and slip my arm into it and then grab the part. All the over spray lands on
the bag and not my arm. I used soapy water and a Scotch Brite pad to scrap off
the paint from my arms. It's a better method than soaking my arms in paint
thinner!

For other parts I try and mount them to wire hangers or other supports that
keep the spray away from me and allows me to put the parts away to dry.

Try using a lite spray of gold krylon first before using the Lime Gold
testors.
