I searched for some of the things I could trace while trying to figure it out. For example, cuePointsAPI, and also old functions like getTitleById. Neither of those show any matches when searched for on that page.

In my own FLA I have BC3 code, that works ok. If I check the value of bcPlayer it shows as Object [FederatedFactory]. Any attempt to call the usual bcPlayer... 		Colin Holgate

What are the usual bcPlayer methods that you are trying to call? You should call getModule(), naming the module you'd like to access, and then call methods...

... Thanks, I did track that down. What to search for isn't obvious when you're used to the BC2 bcPlayer contains everything approach....
