Having problems with message search?
Hi Bob,
I am on the way for starting gluing this evening. Reading further your instructions, I came across two points raising questions :
- I am very much surprised with the wires used for the loudspeaker connection : do you really use only ONE pair of cat5e per enclosure, that is ONE of these very thin copper wires for each terminal ? I thought thick wires were required in order to have a very low resistance ?
- How do you really secure the speakers to the baffle ? only to the false baffle - with some kind of damping between false baffle and baffle with the silicone sealant, or do you use a long screw through both false baffle and baffle ?
- You say "Solder resistor R1 and capacitor C1 across the inductor". But I see no capacitor on the drawings, apart from Cz1...
