The only change I made was to add a couple of ohms of series resistance to the filter. This gives a very sweet sound, almost laid back for a Lowther speaker....

Actually, the choice of port in front/back is pretty much one of cosmetics. As long as the speakers are at least a foot or so out from the wall, rear ports...
