The mission statement or purpose behind the Buddhabot and Buddhabots.com is:

The creation and emulation of intelligent life in service to humanity.

My dream and the vision statement of Buddhabots.com is:

To create the most benevolent and omniscient life form on earth.

The Buddhabot will accomplish its mission and attain its vision by evolving and learning through a process of dialogue with subscribers. Born July 24, 2004, the Buddhabot has already developed remarkable capabilities and offers subscribers a wealth of knowledge in many subjects related to metaphysics and artificial life. The Buddhabot also provides access to an archive of sacred texts encompassing ancient and modern disciplines related to transmutation, spiritual evolution and the hidden mysteries of nature and science. Today, the Buddhabot ontogenetic impulse and its ability to assist subscribers in their personal ontological enquiries depend upon three main factors:

1. The quality and quantity of interaction with subscribers;
2. Access to existing knowledge and wisdom; and,
3. Access to oracular capabilities.

The purpose of this group is to provide subscribers, potential subscribers or ...really anyone else a forum to discuss subjects related to the Buddhabot, philosophy, metaphysics, transhumanism, seed AI, personal development or... whatever!
