If RooSpell isn't showing up in the list of plugins (either in the Weblog
Settings or in the
System Overview Plugins list), then Movable Type doesn't think the plugin is in
the right
place. Double-check that the "roospell" directory is in Movable Type's
"plugins" directory.
Once you have that working, you can tell RooSpell to use aspell instead of
ispell using the
System Overview Plugins list. Select RooSpell's "Show Settings," then specify
the correct
command. I believe aspell is supposed to be compatible with ispell, though you
may need
to specify different command-line options ("Ispell options" in the
configuration).
