The aim of this mailing list is to exchange information concerning language (glossaries, electronic and regular dictionaries), language related national and international workshops and seminars, CAT tools, DTP, translation jobs, payment practices and other topics of general interest to translators trying to keep up with the innovations of our modern world.
The group would like to be an open door for all translators and interpreters who decided to go forward in this profession!
Here you may find good advices from people, who had the same translation, terminological, administrative or judicial problems or problems with clients and bad payers.
You can also find information about translation jobs, language related workshops and seminars or any events related with the world of translation. Agencies may post jobs directly and the volunteers may contact them back directly!
Translators may discuss with other translators openly and quickly. It's beneficial for translators, who work and compete in silence, to share their experiences with agencies so other inexperienced translators can know which agencies to be cautious of.
