Greetings Burritohead,

I have discovered, (and so have you!) recently that my practice of
sending the burritos out every day has had to come to an end. I have
been doing this practice for over six years (if not longer!) and I
realized that albeit a fantastic service, it has had its duration.
This has been a fascinating journey that has opened me to such a
deeper understanding of the incredible cyclic and radial nature of our
world, and the human experience. My mind has been blown innumerable
times and my acuity as a being has been greatly enhanced by the sacred
Tzolkin and its mysteries.
  I truly appreciate and have been touched so deeply by all of your
comments, well wishing and `omigod you saved my life today!' or `Wow,
how did you know today was exactly like that?!' that I cannot just
leave this whole thing to evaporate….

So, in light of the fabulousness of such consistent responses from you
my dedicated burrito muncher, I have decided to take this to another
level. One that can be independent of my efforts and can be
propagated, and enjoyed by so many more than I can imagine.

I have gathered all my burrito recipes and daily commentaries. I am
going to edit them, and put them together into a book!

Included in this book will be a date calculator that will allow you to
align with the day, and continue your practice of burrito munching
without a computer interface, and at your own pace.

I will touch in with you again when It is ready!

Thank you so much for such an incredible journey, I have savored every
day, every kin, every signature of magical cosmic weaving.

And thank you for listening to my ranting, i hope we've had a good

...and from yesterday... A NEW wavespell

Upon waking in the morning we are puzzled by and ponder our dreams. I
have many times had a dream linger in my mind, hanging over my coffee
cup, or gently bumping the headliner as I am driving down the road in
my car. What does it MEAN?! What were all those symbols and those
dream characters about?!
Ah dear burrito head. The depths and folds and crevices of our minds
are NOT to be figured out, cleared out or understood. Our final
realization is to throw our hands in the air, and succumb to the
mystery of it all.
In this wavespell of the dreaming NIGHT, we realize that for the next
thirteen days, our intuitive self is going to be in command. Now, if
you know your intuition like I know my intuition, more often than not
I DO NOT get an explanation for the choices it makes. I don't get a
reason, or anything, just instruction. That it need not give a reason
is the prerogative of the dreamtime, the abundance of the universe has
so many currents and fluctuations, its like counting the waves on the
sea. Ain't nuthin' to figure out. Please for gosh's sake, trust it!
You may never ever get the answer to the question `why?'
After all, does it really matter?
When we get those `Ah ha!'s in our lives, do we really understand in a
communicable way what has happened? Nah. So, over the next thirteen
days, its not so much about trust, and a little bit more about just…

we are dedicating ourselves to the practice of nurturing our primal
being. Not a primeval savageness but the intrinsic being at BIRTH.

that self, for we always will call upon that self-ness in ourselves.
This intrinsic nature has a consciousness that we COOPERATE with, who

Just when you think that things aren't going to go your way, you begin
to REALIZE that they will always go the way the universe wants it to.
Especially when we work with the white mirror. It's all about knowing
that there is this ORDER to everything. We're all just a bunch of
tadpoles swimming around in a giant pond, dancing with each other and
if you looked at the pond from far above, you would see a beautiful
dance, but form up close it doesn't look like much. Each of us PULSES
to each other our own rhythm of the cosmos, and that is what the solar
tone can do for us. It's kind of like putting in a request for office
supplies. We each put in our own request for what we need, our own
stapler, and post-it notes. We each need our own stuff but they way
that we use these items makes a contribution to everything. Our
INTENTIONS are REFLECTED in our work. Yes, the work seems ENDLESS but
there really is not destination, it's about the journey. It's about
the journey.
So, today's conscious burrito says to us…
Its outta your hands. Its simply that you put your intentions out
there, the universe fits your request into the great weaving of
humanity's progression, and whatever your intentions are, will be
returned, in direct reflection to what you are emitting. So get clear.
Here's a hint, if you aren't getting what your intentions are, simply
rework it and get more and more and more and more clear. This work of
being human isn't complicated, its just that we complicate more than
we need to.

This is an interesting paradoxical kind of day. Electric is the tone
of ACTIVATION and SERVICE, which usually refers to others. The tribe
of human I about the internalization of knowledge, with a bit of a
switch into how our own knowledge can INFLUENCE those around us.
Today's signature is very sublime. There is a bit of the internal and
a bit of the external going on at the same time. I would liken today's
signature to a bon bon. Its bite sized so you can experience the
joyous flavors and textures of the bon bon in one fell swoop as you
toss the nugget into your mouth. The exterior, and the interior mingle
as you crunch down on the confection. The key to this flavor
sensation, and its full impact on your senses, is the flavor
combination that you chose.
WISDOM comes from the inside, through an internal processing of our
experience. BONDING with someone or something is also an internal
experience externalized. FREE WILL is our own power to explore
ourselves, and determine(to an extent) our own destinies. ACTIVATION,
and INFLUENCE is the incorporation of the outer world into our world,
and the impact we have on that world. It's the right combination of
the inside with the outside.

So, roll all this into a conscious burrito and you have…
Let's get back to the bon bon. If you choose the right coating for the
bon bon with the most luscious, delectable, and fabulous ice cream for
the center you will have a confectioner's orgasm in your mouth! This
is what is possible today.

WOW, blinked out there for a little bit.....
my apologies!

So, your moon is in the seventh house but Jupiter is not necessarily
aligned with Mars. No matter dear heart, that's not what today is
about at all! There aren't even houses in the traditional sense in the
Dreamspell!
Today is the last day of the earth wavespell, and what an amazing one
it has been. With all this weird introspection we have been doing
throughout the wavespell, commanding your primal nurturing power and
organizing your dreamworld, its has been a lot of work!
Feel free to sit down today with a fresh steaming hot cup of manna and
be PRESENT to the wondrous being that you are. This whole wavespell is
governed by the synchronic navigator that resides inside you, and
today with the power of the moon you get to have a tour of the bridge.
Moon shows us that the FLOW is always there, and the we
actually PURIFY ourselves by moving with that flow, We TRANSCEND into
that flow today, getting a little bit more of the gooey center. The
ENDURING aspect of our selves are shining today and that part of our
selves, are surfing the crest of the waves of UNIVERSAL WATERS.
Another thing on a more esoteric note, form a timekeepers perspective
is to look at the bookends of this wavespell. Earth is the most
complex and advanced archetype that works with the fluidity of
consciousness and synchrony, and it begins the wavespell.
The Moon, on our journey through human evolution with the tribes, is
our first archetypal encounter with a personal connection with the
synchronic ambient structure. I think it is remarkable that the
wavespell begins with the advanced and returns to the simple. Isn't
that how it always is though? Simplify darling, simplify. There are
only four(or five) amino acids that make up our whole genetic
structure, but what they can do when you put them all together into
long chains? Ooooo, the magic! the magic! Always remember from
whence you cometh.

So in burrito language, it doesn't take much to get the essential
understanding that everything is taken care of. Just purify you
knowing and peel away all the flowery language, and the jargon, and
you still have a life that is like a magic marker; the marker itself
is so simple, but thing of all the things that you can draw, mark, tag
and identify and the laundry you can label with it!

Wow. We had an incredible day! so many amazing people attended our
local day out of time celebration. We as the Portland Planet art
Network used to throw big parties in the center of downtown
Portland,from 1997 to 2002. we revived the grid and THREW DOWN! wow,
what time to share with old friends, dance a LOT and decode
signatures! we're all in this together, and we can all support each
other in the awakening that is the inevitable event.

so, the vibe for the entire upcoming year according to the rhythms of
the 13 moon calendar is embodied by the electric storm...

Now this is a sweet one. If you can let go enough to get it all the way...
Now that we are in the wavepsell of the conscious synchronic linking
up we hafta kinda let go of what we think the harmonies of the spheres
are going to bring/reveal to us. Electric is the tone of basic circuit
building; the essential connectivity of elements within the wavespell.
Storm is our creative nature wreaking havoc on what we believe to be
in control of and allowing the catalyzation of all the enrgies present
to be reorganized into a higher level of organization.

In the winding roads of our lives we sometimes get good direction and
sometimes we get more difficult directions. Don't be mistaken, we all
get directions to the same destination, but I must tell you that it is
truly the journey and not the destination that really counts. So,
How's your journey going? In this wavespell oif navigation, we get to
focus on how the journey really is. So for today we get to see how
well ORDERED our ENDLESS journey is. And we do that by CHALLENGING
ourselves to REFLECT back to others what we have going on in our minds
and lives. So rather than feeling as though you are at the mercy of
and being controlled by (or run over, as the case may be) your life,
stabilize in your mind and heart what you want to have happen and the

I always like to look ahead and see what the cosmic tone of a given
wavespell is. Sure the magnetic sets the tone for the wavespell, but
like a lollipop with a center, it's about the anticipation and the
reward. After this crazy ride of the seed asking us to focus our minds
and intentions, wrapped in a portal run of auspiciously high energy,
the cosmic warrior is our reward. Our gooey center if you will.
This warrior's archetypal power asks us to step out into the clarity
of a deeper knowing through the power of inquiry. To ask of ourselves
and our lives the questions that can really make it count, perhaps the

Only three more days of the mystic column, the middle twenty days of
the 260 day cycle!
This signature is one of those really chewy ones, the ones where the
tone and tribe synch up and dig into the massive deeper conscious grid
of humanity's evolution.
Resonant is the 7th tone of thirteen, and this is the seventh column
of the Tzolkin. Wait, it's more than just the numbers; lucky seven is
only the beginning! Seven is the mystical number of attunement and
inspiration, according to the creative process of the tones, and the
Red earth is the seventeen tribe of twenty. Red Earth asks us to
remember that our evolution is always moving towards a high alignment

Let me put it to ya straight. There is not just one reason for us to

There is something very daring about embracing more humor and
joviality in your life. There is definitely something as well about
timing. Now, I mean to say about, you know…timing. The dramatic pause,
the pregnant pause, the moment before the punch line. How long is that
deft silence? Can the waiting be too long? Can you keep your listener
baited like a fish, waiting to be yanked from the water into a safe
net of jeering laughter? Are you keeping yourself waiting for the
punch line of the great experience of your own life?
The dramatic pause is a practiced skill. You must ask yourself is this
the right moment? Do I have their attention the way that I would like
it? Will they get it? (you can't know!) So, if I pull this off what's
the next gag?
So many questions! Well on this warrior day you get to ask them, but
more so, you get to ask more for another reason. Balance your
fearlessness, so it doesn't get cocky! Check into what timing works
for what gag. Explore the many different kinda of timing. Find the
ones that are the most useful and appropriate for a given situation.
Remember a bad joke can make people laugh but a bad joke delivered
poorly is just a bomb.

Now, this is an interesting day! After activation of our exploratory
nature through the skywalker now we bring form to an archetype whose
terrain is the interdimensional realms of the mind/spirit. Yet, we
often think of the interdimensional realms as a place/state that is
infinite and unmappable. In keeping with the humors of the monkey
wavespell, the monkey makes the impossible seem possible. This is one
of those days that you can dream up whatever you think is impossible
insurmountable, and unbelievable, and it may actually manifest itself.
Now remember we are in the monkey wavespell so its actual form may not
be what you expect, and you may be in for some surprises. Generously
slather your psyche with the enchanting power of receptivity, and
enter into the timeless matrix of the wizard. Who knows how it will
show up!?

Oh the fun of it all! But I must say unless you explore how fun your

Red electric Skywalker gives me visions of walking through the sky
with an electric smile, and exploring space while feeling the warm sun
and the eternal breezes of the world upon my skin. Today is an
opportunity to take the fun that we have attracted, and challenged
ourselves to integrate as a part of the wisdom of life, and be of
service to ourselves and each other while feeling the spaciousness of
life.

There are times in our lives for action and there are times for
meditation, and times for rest, and times for planning. Today is a day
of action! Not just any old action, because some of the tones of the
wavespell are for activation, or release, or intention. The planetary
tone, especially when coupled with the tribe of hand is like cooking.
When you have cooked that omelet hundreds of times, and then, then
there is this one omelet that is just perfect, its fluffy and the
ingredients folded inside are just right and taste Amazing!, then you
have embodied the power of the planetary hand.
This signature is one of those really yummy ones wherein the tribe and
the tone are just an amazing fit. The archetype of hand embodies the
energies of accomplishment, and knowing, the power of knowing when you
know an old trail that you have hike dozens of times, that pillow that
you know how to squish just right, a movie that you can recite the
lines from any scene. Couple that with the planetary creative tone of
manifestation, and you have a powerful combination! Not just any
manifestation, but the perfected manifestation with the intention to
heal. We wont get into the specifics of healing, for healing occurs on
many, many levels, But look deeply into what heals you and how you

Did you ever have one of those little inkling in your gut about a
situation, not listen to it, then you realized that if you had, things
would have been A LOT different? Yeah, me too. NO that you have
stopped kicking yourself in the tuchus about it; today you get to
redeem yourself.
Galactic serpent is all about harmonizing with and modeling the power
of your primal instinctual power. At burning man that kind of power
and connection is a tangible sensation, kind of like all the playa
dust. It gets in EVERYTHING, and it changes your life. Dust and primal
trust.
So, Monkey scribe, how do I go about doing this?! Of course, you want
to know. It begins with getting used to the fact that you are an
integral component of the divine process. There are many people,
things, and situations that you affect that you will never see the
results of. If you get a twinge to smile at someone, or to make a
call, or let someone into your lane of traffic, follow the twinge;
that pulse, the gut instinctual response.
The serpent is the primal passionate self that is lusting for LIFE!
The marrow sucking archetype that keeps the home fires burning. Honor
it and feel it, more so than listening, its just one o' them things.
It's a practice, so keep your personal desires and other hoopla out of
the way.
You've felt it before, so you know what I'm talking about. Now, the
game is to just keep that trust going and model it for everyone around
you!

A day of tuning into your inspiration to create something artistic!
Lovely!
The seventh tone of any wavespell is the tone of attunement and
inspiration. The Star is the first archetypal interaction of the mind
with the infinite, through the creative power of beauty and artistic
endeavors.
So, for today's burrito, if you feel inspired today in the margins to
doodle, work that doodle, out into the center of the paper and
embellish and allow your hand to fly through the creative process. Now
I speak metaphorically here, most of us don't draw! So it is with any
creative process today, just work it! Our sun is actually a star and
it shines on us, warms us and allows us to grow. Be inspired by the
power of the sun and allow the channeling spirit of the sun, bursting
with energy and creative juices to wash over you and gulp it down! Art
is in everything you do. And, as a matter of fact TIME IS ART!

(wow, solstice! June 21 what a great signature for a  looong day!)

In all of the time management programs the authors speak about short,
mid, and long-term goals. What are you going to get done between then
and now in order to ACCOMPLISH your goals? This can be a very HEALING
process, especially if you are not used to planning. It can place
one's mind in a great space, and not have to worry about losing the
magic of spontaneity that can be an asset to our lives. Getting
ORGANIZED is a stress relieving process. It helps to make you feel
more BALANCED and actually frees you up to do more in your life than
you thought you could.
Ok enough with the pitch. On to the burrito!
The forces of nature are very well organized as are the laws of
physics. Don't forget that there is a lot of leeway as well. Take a
leaf for instance. It has a definitive structure and shape, yet when

that it can take as it swoops to the ground.
IF you can find the EQUALITY between structure of being organized and
allowance of the unfoldment of the process, then everything changes.
There will be a deep KNOWING inside of you and your own personal
floating leaf will soar into the wind and be carried off to new lands.
So, while getting your poop in a group, know that if you do a little
planning and get things organized, you will discover that your life
will run a lot more smoothly. Oh, by the way, you will never be
finished with being organized.

Well, I woke up to a bit of a gloomy morning, and since then the sun
has battled with the clouds and won! The afternoon has turned into a
beautiful day! But wait a minute, the sun is always shining, its just
depends if there is anything in the way! Overtone is the tone of
commanding and empowerment, and wind embodies the qualities of breath
and spirit.
To be completely empowered in your spirit, is to be in command of how
you communicate. The power is always there, it's just how you are
using it, and that depends upon the situation! The sun is always
there, as is your power, but knowing when to use it, and radiating
that power through communication is the key. Know when to turn the
rheostat up and when to turn it off, THAT is empowered action.
That is overtone wind.
Here is the abbreviated version: know when to keep your mouth shut and
when to use it. It takes some practice, and even more so, listen
powerfully. Without filters and fixed perceptions. For it is better to
understand another than to try to be understood.

ya. I thought so too. whewwwwww...

Hey Guess what?! Today is the last day of the first portal run! I
don't know about you, but it seems to me that the last ten days have
felt like a month. Not because they dragged butt or anything, but
because they were so jam packed full of the every present NOW, and I
was right there for it!
After a run of portal days we now have the opportunity to release and
let our creative minds churn away with the forces of our creative
powers. Eagle shows us the world from far away and high above, so we
can see the trees AND the forest. Its great to get a little (or a lot)
of perspective today, especially with the knowing that we have the
opportunity to dissolve our self-imposed boundaries to our creativity.
The spectral tone the tone of dissolving and release, allows us to
spread our wings just a little bit more and join more deeply with our
creative minds and the visions we have for the future.
Spread your wings dear heart, just a little bit more than you thought
you could, and release those old notions of what you thought you could
do, reach a little bit further…
You can also exhale, the portals will let up for a little while. Only
thirty days, then another ten days of portals. Don't worry, I will
remind you of their power and presence.

I love galactic! It is a tone of such harmony, as though the music of
the spheres is transmitted through the tone! Eight is an octave
anyway. Full scale as one might say. Nyuk, nyuk. Today we reveal the
integrity of our humanness. I don't mean humanness, in that all too
cliché phrase, `gosh, I'm only human'(which implies fault), but the
wonderful opportunity we have to expand ourselves. Its an opportunity
to explore how we influence ourselves and those around us into wisdom.
Today we model ourselves to the fullness of our being. Now, did you
notice that we are here on earth school? Be a human. Be the best human
that you can. Don't try to transcend today, that's not what today is
about. You are manifest here & now for a reason. Breathe into that
reason, & feel everything that it means to be a human. Wow, what an
incredible gift to be given all these emotions & facilities with which
to express ourselves! Do it intelligently though, be a wise human with
integrity, that's what earth school/galactic kindergarten is all about.

Jeesh! Just when you think you have it under your control, and you
have sh*t figured out, you get a signature like today's!

Remember though, that we are in the midst of a group of days that are
rather potent, kinda like most quadrupeds in the spring time after
being struck by a healthy spring breeze! These ten portal days(this is
# 4) can really rock you out! Hang in there and be witness to the
amazing wonders of how the world sets us up for living in deeper and
deeper synchrony. It only gets better you know! So onto the signature,
being the day of the overtone fifth, this is a day to take command,
and exercise your power as an evolving being. But wait, Moon is about
flow, and not pushing the river! HUNH?!!! Oooh, we are so fraught with
paradox. Its all a ruse you know. Clear the thoughts, and take care to
do some internal laundry today and you will be surfing the waves of
enlightenment very soon! It's like being a bright autumn leaf on a
river, this is your mind/experience. To be in true command is to
accept and be conscious of all the events that come before us or that
we pass by on our journey down the river. Give it up, you can't push
it, but you CAN take command of the experiences you do have and choose
to have a daily psychic scrubbing by your higher self! Get out the
washcloth of lucidity, and start singing. It's a much better life when
you sing or hum as you bathe in the light of the world!

Now I lay me down to sleep
I dedicate my soul to awake
In this wavespell of wisdom we have been exploring the notions we have
of intelligence and what we think the power of free will gives us.
Today we surrender to the dreamtime of the ancestors and listening to
the depths of the cosmic void. If we only cooperate with our deeper
dreaming self a bit more often, we will discover that our wisdom is
much more applicable and less abstract. This wisdom we acquire is only
good if put to use in ways that benefit ourselves and others. Yet, you
may be noticing that as this wavespell draws to a close we are
presented with archetypes that ask us to trust something else besides
our experiences, and the influence we have requisitioned as a result
of experience.
Go inside today then dear burritohead, and notice the cryptic messages
of the stream of consciousness that is our minds. Follow the unlikely,
notice the slightly skewed, and supposed disassociated. This is the
realm of the dreaming, and it will unfold and make sense when you
least expect it to.

As the trade winds, sweep the seeds of time across the oceans of
consciousness; we cannot actually know where those seeds will land. As
today is the spectral tone, the more we liberate our connection to the
essential spirit that resides in each of us, the more we will dissolve
the boundaries of time, space and individuality. That individuation is
what can really get us into trouble! Liberation believe it or not
comes through a recognition of connection to the infinite, not a
separation. It is this deeper communication to the infinite that
excites and comforts and nourishes us. So the deeper you connect the
more free you are! I love the paradoxes of spectral days!

How often do we look in the mirror and are not quite happy with what
we see? Well, that's an interesting thing, because, its always the
same, its just that our perspective changes depending on what we had
for breakfast, or whether on not we're on our period, or if the wind
is blowing from the southwest.
Today we get to be inspired by our reflections! WHAAAAAT???!!!!! Yep,
if you're not happy with it, dig a little and weed out the crap that
is causing that urge to haul out and break the mirror or walk away in
disgust. Be inspired by the not so great attitude and work that out!
Your higher self loves you more than you will ever know, and I'll tell
you know, you got it going on!
Even if you think that you don't.
So, get off your tuchus(`cause you're the only one that will do it!)
and notice that if there are happy people around you and you feel like
a cat shat in your brain(grumble grumble) you get to notice that its
only temporary. How temporary is up to you, my dear.
What is around you is simply a reflection of your nature, notice it,
and get hip to the wonder! Shine beautiful, shine!

Two great tastes that taste great together! The rhythm of the spheres!
Rhythmic as an aspect of the creative process is all about organic
rhythm, equality and balance. Red Earth is the synchronic navigator
that receives orders from the music of the spheres. Today is kinda
like waiting for the bus. We know kinda when it will show up, but
considering the bus has to pick up a whole bunch of other people that
we don't even know, and encounters stoplights and hazards along the
way, we must be patient as an immanent bus rider. We're not sure
exactly when it will come, but it will hopefully come within a certain
time frame. Trust that the bus will show up, and the you WILL be on
the bus(metaphorically and physically). Be patient to and realize the
fact that you are a member of a greater whole and, that rarely (if
ever) does the cosmos abide to your human desires, and human schedule.
Synchrony is something to come into phase with, not to force your
personal trip on. If you listen carefully, you can hear and feel the
rhythms of the cosmos, and groove with it. You may discover that as
you groove to these rhythms, you will be less stressed, more relaxed,
and become a better dancer.

So, roll all this together into a conscious burrito and you have…
Balancing one's life is a juggling act of finesse, patience, truth and
revealing. Earth shows us that no matter where we are at, we are still
a part of the music of the spheres! Your task today, traveler through
time, is to listen for the rhythm of the spheres, and get your groove
thing on and dance to it! It may not be a rhythm you are used to, so
be careful not to force it, and try the new beats you will feel.
Otherwise it's like pissing into the wind; you get little relief, and
end up soggy, frustrated, and the wind just keeps blowing!

Do you feel as thought there is a subtle strength deep inside of you?
The only thing you need to do to unleash this great inner strength and
being is to ask it just the right questions? What is the password to
reveal this intense and powerful aspect of yourself? What is the
perfect tone that will cause that small click that will open the
floodgates to your warrior self? Its inside you already, Its not
actually a word, its a presence that you already possess. Take command
of that presence, radiate it from the core of your being, and you've
got it made! Sound the overtone fifth (that magic note that brings all
the harmonies together!) and the warrior will turn your world into
your ally rather than adversary. Think clearly today, ask questions,
and empower yourself to rely on your inherent, intelligence. Where are
the answers, I think you already know!
