Qool punya produk baru berupa kamera khusus berteknologi 3G untuk video
call, disebut Qool Callisto. Dengan bantuan kamera Callisto yang terhubung
dengan ponsel 3G, kita dapat memantau kondisi rumah atau kantor dari mana
pun karena Callisto ini beroporesi pada frekuensi GSM 800/900/1800/1900 .

Kamera ini juga seperti halnya ponsel, memakai SIM card dari operator. Jadi
dari ponsel kita tinggal menghubungi nomor yang dituju.

Agar kamera ini tidak seenaknya diakses oleh siapa saja, maka ada kode
password yang mesti dimasukkan si pemilik. Caranya dengan memasukkan set
host kemudian kode nomor password, lalu kirim pesannya. Jika cocok, kamera
akan membalasnya dengan "Ok".

Kalau pun pemilik, menginginkan ada nomor-nomor lain yang bisa ikut
mengakses. Maka, pemilik dapat mensetting atau mendaftarkan nomor-nomor
tersebut melalui ponselnya. Ponsel 3G ini tak ubahnya sebagai remot control,
tombol angka yang ada di ponsel mempunyai fungsi tertentu. Angka satu,
misalnya berfungsi untuk menghidupkan speaker.

Hal ini berarti suara kita dapat di dengar oleh lawan bicara di seberang
sana. Komunikasi dua arah juga tercipta dengan hadirnya microphone pada
kamera tersebut yang memungkinkan lawan bicara mengobrol dengan si
penelepon.

Durasi untuk video call sekitar 2,2 jam. Namun, karena bukan berfungsi
sebagai ponsel, kamera yang dibanderol seharga Rp3 juta ini tidak bisa
digunakan untuk menelepon duluan. Untuk mematikan speakernya, tekan angka
tiga.

Sedangkan, bila ingin menggerakkan bola kamera atau melihat sudut lain dari
ruangan, cukup tekan angka 4 untuk belok kiri dan angka 6 maka kamera belok
ke kanan, serta 5 untuk mematikan sensor. Fungsi tanda #, akan mengaktifkan
sensor inframerah yang digunakan untuk memantau kondisi ruangan pada malam
hari.

Kamera yang mampu merekam video hingga 8 jam ini juga dapat dimanfaatkan
untuk memotret dari jarak jauh. Settingnya, tetap melalui ponsel dengan cara
mengetik pesan ke Callisto yang isinya: take plot m dan Callisto akan
membalasnya berupa MMS dengan format gambar 800 X 600 JPEG.

Soal penyimpanan data, kamera berdimensi 100 X 120 X 133mm tersebut
menyediakan slot memori micro SD. Sumber power laiknya ponsel menggunakan
sistem charge, dengan kondisi full baterai kamera dapat menyala hingga 220
jam.
