Hello,

I recently joined the bworks forum to find out more about the program.

A major theme behind the home page http://bworks.org is soliciting
donations of money and volunteers.

I've observed larger organizations in St. Louis donating funds to
local organizations similar to bworks. In 2003, Monsanto Donated 3
million dollars to local charitable organizations alone. I also
just read on Slashdot.com that Google plans on spending 1.1 billion
dollars on charitable endeavors:

I'm no grant writer, but I would be willing to cut some teeth with
others in developing grant proposals / plans for the ByteWORKS and
BikeWORKS programs. Going through the process of obtaining a grant
could be a great learning experience for everyone involved.

Scott

... That sounds like a great idea. I could use some teeth cutting, too. Thanks, Scott. I'll pass your message on to the staff list: ...
