Hello all

This upcoming weekend will be a busy one! If you can help out, please
respond to this list or to me, or call the shop Sat. morning at 664-0828.

-- Inter-neighborhood House Tour -- booth sitters needed -- probably 11am
-3pm Sat and Sun. Hope for good weather! I can work some of Sunday but
would like company. Tell people about B-works, solicit volunteers (will
have list) and donations, sell water bottles and perhaps raffle a
computer.

-- Operation Brightside -- needed Sat. morning 10-12noon or1pm -- we'll
meet at the shop at 10am and go down to Hechingers' for our marching
orders. Will be picking up trash, raking leaves, and scaping dirt off the
brick in the alleys and perhaps planting flowers. Marty and Michele will
provide lemonade, iced tea and tools. I hope to have kids helping out
too. (both neighborhood and CAMP Kids). No RSVP needed -- just show up!

--HI-AYH bike ride -- adult riders with helmets and bikes -- to provide
company to the youth. (Hint: this group is a fun group). We meet at
B-works at 12:30pm, get them in bikes and helmets, make sure they have
water in their bottles. About 12:45pm, we ride as a group to the start at
Tower Grove Park (near the playground). If you can't make it to B-works,
normal meeting time is 1pm, we leave at 1:30pm. It is a 23 pretty flat
ride to the Arch and then we return -- hopefully by 5pm (Yours truly
needs to go to work at 5:30pm, but asked if I could come late). Ride is
free for HI-AYH members, $2 for guests.

Looking to next week -- Gavin could use volunteers for Earth Day 12 -
5:30 on Sat. April 22....
