local chapter of the International Webmasters Association) will be our
annual AWARDS CEREMONY this coming Tuesday, February 20, 2001, at the St.
Louis Science Center (it's at 5050 Oakland Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110).
(We will return to our normal meeting location of One City Place in Creve
Coeur in March.) Parking at the Science Center in their lot will be free
after 5:00 p.m. Detailed maps can be found through the links on our site
(www.stlwebdev.org). The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with networking and
refreshments, and the ceremony itself will begin at 7:00 p.m. with awards
and prizes for the best Web sites created in 2000 by St. Louis talent being
presented in 10 different categories. Details about the competition can
be found at www.stlwebdev.org/awards. RSVP's were being taken up until
Tuesday and we did reach our capacity at that time. However, we don't want
anyone not to come because they didn't RSVP. That was done primarily to
estimate the amount of food we'll need. (If you didn't RSVP and you want
to come, please do -- but go lightly on the hors d'oeuvres! :-) We hope
you can join us on Tuesday for this special meeting!
