Today's the day DISCOVERY KIDS is running a marathon of TRUTH OR SCARE. While ostensibly for kids (and hosted by Michele "HARRIET THE SPY" Trachtenberg), this is a repackaging of a variety of weird shows. You're likely to run into some interesting material. THE HISTORY CHANNEL is also doing a mini-marathon of its HAUNTED HISTORY shows on Friday, August 9. Also, there is what appears to be a new show on alien abductions on THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL, debuting August 8. Oh, and don't miss the rare opportunity to see THE PET PSYCHIC...about 20 times this week. :) . Of course, John Edward runs that often as well.

The benefit party for OPUS on September 13 (prior to the Bay Area UFO Expo) is shaping up to be quite an event. I have to admit some inside interest here, but I'm looking forward to chatting with the people attending...it has the makings of very interesting conversation. See Live Events below.

This weekly (if I can get back to that) listing will focus on the content of upcoming episodes. That should make this a bit lighter and more focused.
