phenomenon (to be streamed

Channel will be airing
"Steven Spielberg Presents Taken," a ten-part
miniseries that offers a
dramatization of this compelling subject.
WHO: Morton Dean, one of America's best-known, trusted
and most highly
regarded award-winning news correspondents, will
moderate The UFO Abduction
Phenomenon: A Symposium. He is currently the voice of
History Channel and
A&E Biography documentaries, is host/reporter of a
major monthly 60-minute
cable network science show, and has been heard on
National Public Radio
commenting on politics and terrorism. As a traveling
correspondent he
covered many historic, headline-making stories around
the world for CBS
News (20 years) and ABC News (14 years). He anchored
regular newscasts for
both networks. Dean also anchored literally hundreds
of network news
specials, documentaries and breaking news stories for
both networks.
Budd Hopkins is an internationally known artist who
has pioneered the first
systematic research into accounts of human abductions.
He is the author of
Missing Time (Marek, 1981), Intruders - The Incredible
Visitation at Copley
Woods (Random House, 1983), which was the basis for a
1992 CBS miniseries,
and Witnessed - The True Story of the Brooklyn Bridge
UFO Abductions
(Pocket Books, 1996).
David M. Jacobs, Ph.D., Associate Professor of History
at Temple University
in Philadelphia, is one of the world's best-known and
most respected UFO
abduction researchers. Jacobs' books include The UFO
Controversy in America
(Indiana University Press, 1975), Secret Life:
Firsthand Accounts of UFO
Abductions (Simon & Schuster, 1993), and The Threat
(Simon & Schuster, 1998).
John Mack, M.D., is a Professor of Psychiatry at
Harvard Medical School and
founder of the Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge
Hospital. His research
into the spiritual and transformational aspects of the
alien encounter
phenomenon was first presented in Abduction
(Scribners, 1994) and expanded
into the 1999 book Passport to the Cosmos (Crown). His
other writings
include the 1977 Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of
