In honor of today's anniversary of the sighting that kicked off the modern UFO era (and popularized the term "flying saucer"), let me start with that this time.

 

THE HISTORY CHANNEL continues to run its UFO FILES series ( http://www.historychannel.com/global/listings/upcomingepisodes.jsp?ACatId=12040449&CaseId=12040447&EGrpId=10963893 ).  The most recent episode appears to be THE DAY AFTER ROSWELL, which is running on Monday, June 27th at 8:00 PM.  Other episodes will run at 8:00 PM (and midnight) all that week.  June 30th at 11:00 PM (and 4 hours later) they will re-run ALIEN ABDUCTIONS.

 

July 3rd, starting at 8:00 PM, THE LEARNING CHANNEL does a mini-marathon of UFOS UNCOVERED (repeating the three eps starting at midnight) (http://tlc.discovery.com/schedule/series.jsp?series=50351&gid=0). 

 

THE SCI-FI CHANNEL has repeats of UFOS: 50 YEARS OF DENIAL and THE ROSWELL CRASH: STARTLING NEW EVIDENCE starting on Tuesday at 4:00 PM.

 

THE HISTORY CHANNEL is also running a mini-marathon of HISTORY'S MYSTERIES today, starting at 10:00 AM, with =two= AMITYVILLE eps and BIGFOOT.

July 1st is a day for THE TRAVEL CHANNEL.  They have ON THE TRAIL OF BIGFOOT at 2:00 PM, and INVESTIGATIONS OF THE UNEXPLAINED at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  Of course, they also have shows scattered throughout their schedule.

 

For the parapsychologically-inclined, you can see PSYCHIC DETECTIVES ( http://www.courttv.com/onair/shows/psychic_detectives/ ) either on COURT TV (Wednesdays at 10 PM and Saturdays at 9 PM  , or in its summer run on NBC (Wednesday at 8:00 PM). 

 

Didn't know OUTDOOR LIFE had a weird program?  Yep, it's MYSTERIOUS ENCOUNTERS (http://www.olntv.com/showviewer.asp?sid=82 ).  A crew goes to various places in the country looking for hairy bipeds (Bigfoot and the like).  The "Creature of Cumberland" is featured on June 27th.
