I apologize for not getting one out last week! It was really, really busy…two birthday parties, a six day work week, some of the days being fourteen hours, etc. This one may also be a bit lighter, and I may need to supplement it. I was particularly sorry to miss getting an alert out on Simon Welfare’s new program on the Chinguetti meteorite.

By the way, I think I discovered a recent problem in the formatting. I had it working pretty well, then started reviewing it to double-check it. I think what I was using to review it was actually altering it.

I did watch the ACORN THE NATURE NUT show on cryptozoology. While I still like the show, it was certainly heavy on implying critical things that would be difficult to prove…for example, that billions of dollars are made on “monsters” each year.

By the way, a tip on what I consider to be the media of the future. I teach computers, and I often tell people in my classes that within the next ten years, you won’t care whether it’s your tv or your computer. Right now, if you have a fast connection (such as DSL or a T1), you can effectively watch a movie that you want to watch for free. Go to http://www.moviehead.com. Yes, there are some documentaries on these topics there, although not too many yet. You can watch it on a modem, but it isn’t anywhere near as good.

Just a reminder about the book I’m co-writing for Paragon House with Gini Scott. If anyone wants to be included in the book, please let me know. I have already begun doing interviews. Everyone who is interviewed should get a chance to review their interview prior to inclusion. Also, we will not include comments criticizing explicitly named other living people. The book is about how being involved with UFOs (as a researcher and/or experiencer) has affected people. While it will provide some resources and some overview, the main goal will be to let the readers meet the people involved. Interested parties should e-mail me at UFOBOOK@....
