This group is dedicating to enhancing Canon digital cameras, such as the Powershot and EOS series, especially the EOS Digital Rebel/Kiss/300D. The goal is mainly to modify the firmware to enhance their functionality. DOS Programmers, dust off your memory banks, because the cameras run on DOS!
(There are currently no code or firmware hacks available for the Digital Rebel 350D (aka Digital Rebel XT) or later)
Additionally, creation of useful programs via the Canon SDK or otherwise is encouraged.

In fact, 300D hack does allow you to save raw in any mode. However I find these preprogrammed modes rather useless. This is my personal opinion. Original

as it says on the home page, there are known software hacks for 350D or later models because there has been no release of firmware upgrades, which is required
