The UNESCO/IUGS has released the Call for new project proposals to the International Geoscience Program (Former IGCP).  Found related information attached.

Please be informed that the 2006 Call for IGCP Project Proposals was
released by the IGCP Secretariat to all IGCP National Committees on 19
September. IUGS now invites all its members to submit project proposals to
this joint programme.

Attached you will find a form for submitting project proposals as well as
the IGCP programme policy. If you are unable to open the attachments, see
this link: http://www.unesco.org/science/earth/igcp.shtml

Please inform geologists in your country to submit their proposals to
Unesco: Dr. M. Patzak Note: Project Proposers must
attach a letter of endorsement from their country's IUGS (or IGCP) National
Committee. Deadline: 15 October, 2006.
