Hello Friends,It has been a long haul, but our strawbale house is finally taking shape. We will be holding a workshop (by Jim Plaster) for learning the techniques of making and applying clay plaster, while helping us to get the clay on the walls. Come play in the mud, enjoy the company of others, and get dirty. Directions: From San Diego, Highway 67 to Ramona. Turn Right onto Mussey Grade Road (Dos Picos Park turn). Go 3.8 miles to 13915 Mussey Grade on Left (just past Ronan Street). There is limited parking at house or along Mussey Grade Road (don't park in front of mailboxes or you may get towed). Extra parking is available at Kitty and Ira Walter Cafe dirt parking area, 100 yards back to the north on Mussey Grade Road.
