Cob Basics covered:
- how to test your soil for making cob
- cob recipes – adding fiber, what kind
- building a foundation
- mixing cob by foot
- how to seal earth plaster
- benefits of cob
- cob vs. other natural building techniques
- how to sculpt a bench of cob – weekend project
Instructor:
Jack Stephens – Executive Director of Natural Building Network
Trained in wildcrafting, shelter and applied ecology with a deep
reverence for nature Jack began work in natural building as the
office manager at Cob Cottage, cob headquarters in the US. As a
leader and coach supporting green businesses and spiritual leaders,
he has lead NBN to be recognized internationally in two short year.
Workshop fee: $150. For all three days
Daily rate $75/ day
Saturday night lecture - Suggested Donation $20.
