Hi all,
There seems to be a misconception among members of Casbasouth that this is "my" site. It is not. It belongs to all and functions as a community bulletin board for any member to post information regarding any news of interest among our highly diverse Sustainable Community.
Please invite others to join and everyone participate regarding the posting of local news.
This is going to be a good year for Straw Bale workshops - I am pretty sure that there are at least 3 Straw Bale houses that will be under construction this summer; One has already begun, and I will keep you posted on progress.
There is also a project utilizing Shipping Containers, and while this building is designed as a multi-function Ag building, it is easy to visualize how Containers could be used for Affordable Housing - and NOT look like ugly containers.
This project is just about to go into the permitting process, and I'll keep y'all posted. Oh yea - in time it will be wrapped (clad) in Bales.
