This mailing list will be for the discussion of converting files of any type (documents, memory databases, terminology databases) for use with any translation memory system, extracting text from various file formats, filters, converters, extraction tools, tips, tricks and things to avoid.

While it is inevitable that we will end up discussing problems with specific products, product *bashing* will not be tolerated. This helps nobody and the idea of this list is to find solutions to conversion/extraction problems.
It is fine to voice frustrations or mention the specific problems, but let's focus on helping each other ;)
