Come for drinks and/or dinner. This is a good chance to meet fellow outdoor lovers and environmentalists, as well as make suggestions for Sierra Club activities you'd like to see. Isabella's Is all non smoking and is in downtown Frederick on the East side of Market Street between Patrick and Church. For garage parking, go right on Church then take an immediate left into the garage. We'll be at a table in the back. RSVP appreciated but not required. For more information email

HIKE
Mark these dates for future hikes:
September 29, Saturday 10 a.m. - Hike Sugarloaf Mountain.
A moderately strenuous 5 mile hike; a good portion of it going up or down. Sugarloaf has a number of excellent views and interesting rock formations.
Meet at the West View parking area at Sugarloaf. Bring water and a lunch or snack and wear appropriate hiking shoes. From Frederick take 270 South to exit 22 to MD 109 S.
Follow for 3 miles then turn right on Comus Rd. After 2.4 miles take a right into Sugarloaf Mountain Park, follow this road up the mountain, past the East view parking to the West View parking.

MARYLAND JAMBOREE OCTOBER 19 - 21
Drumming around the great outdoor bonfire, hikes, seminars, lots of food and more. The much awaited, every other year Maryland wide Sierra Club Jamboree will be held right here at
