Hike Weverton Cliffs and the Appalachian Trail
Beautiful views of the Potomac River. Moderate hike, with one long uphill stretch at the beginning. 7 to 8 miles. Meet a few minutes before 10 a.m. at the Weverton parking area.
Take 340 to MD 67 north, then take the first right onto Weverton Rd. Just after turning, there is a dirt and gravel parking area to the right. Bring a snack or lunch and water as well as appropriate hiking shoes. Dress in layers. For more information email mdhiker2@....

Five candidates for the Democratic Primary will participate. The Sierra Club Catoctin Group is co sponsoring the forum with several other organizations. Come hear the candidates views on critical environmental issues.
