RE: [cbt-tape] Many XEPHON magazines are now available at www.cbttape.org

Hi Sam,

It has taken me a while to notice, but whatever happened to the Xephon TSO/ISPF Update archive. I believe it stopped publication somewhat earlier than the z/OS(MVS) Update and others. There are some references to VBROWSE in web.archive.org, but otherwise it appears to have disappeared with the mearest trace in Google.

It would be nice if they could be rescued too. Is there anyone I could write to at www.tcipubs.com?

Cheers and thanks for all your work in this area.
John Grimmette

Subject: [cbt-tape] Many XEPHON magazines are now available at www.cbttape.org

Hi Folks,

The XEPHON people (www.tcipubs.com or www.xephonusa.com) have now
given many of their magazines over to www.cbttape.org to support. Since
Xephon (which had been run by the z/Journal people for the past few
years) has stopped publication of their magazines, they were concerned
about who would support this big body of code, explanations, and
articles, into the future. www.cbttape.org has now taken over all
support of the Xephon magazines. You can access our initial collection
(8 years' worth of all 7 magazines) at:

www.cbttape.org/xephon

There is no pointer to this URL at the www.cbttape.org site, as
yet. Go directly to www.cbttape.org/xephon .

Please download a magazine or two (or as many as you want), and let
us know what you think. All PDF protections have been removed from the
magazines (I think). We wish you good reading, and the best of luck in
general.

Sincerely, Sam Golob and Sam Knutson www.cbttape.org
