USB 2.0 Cables for Cameras Relying on USB for Power   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #65639 of 66203 |
I'm curious about the differences in USB 2.0 cables. There seem to be a few
specs with respect to wire gauge. The majority appear to be 28AWG with some
premium cables using 20AWG. My question is for devices relying on the USB port
for power, how critical is the gauge of the wire? Most of my cameras have their
own power source such as my Atik 16IC-S but my DSI Pro relies on the port for
power.
