Ahhhh Mr Bode would have been pleased. If he only had the availability
of CCD equipment! Yep - I have been having a difficult time finding
the "truth" as to galactic distances recently. There are so many
competing values. Do you know where SkyChart gets its values? I like
comparing.
Snow snow snow - it is getting to be a nasty word here in New England.
We have had our share. The last storm (last Monday) gave us 15 inches!
This weekend we have had 2-3 new inches followed by ice. The
observatory is now totally crusted over with just over a cm of ice. Oh
well. Spring is soon.... I hope. ;-)
