1 Assignment description
The System Test Engineers shall work with development, debugging and validation of test cases for concurrent system verification of 3G platform
Job descriptionThe scope of this assignment is development, debugging and validation of automated test cases for concurrent system verification of cellular 3G-platform products.
A majority of the test environment is developed in LabView. Therefore it is essential that the candidate knows LabView
Goal and deliverables
The deliverables are documentation, and validated test cases. To some extent also test results.
Responsibility and authority
Follow the activities agreed with the assignment responsible
Competence
We are looking for a System Test Engineer with the following background and general competencies:
· Must have
· A desire to break software and finding faults
· Education level: Master of Science or similar
· At least four years working experience
· At least three years experience of object-oriented software development in LabView with GOOP.
· Practical experience from test and verification, including design, documentation, validation and execution of test cases
· Experience from code management tools, preferable Clear Case
· Ability to work independently and in teams
· Good to have
· Experience of software development using C/C++
· Test methodologies, preferably ISEB certification.
· A great ability to quickly understand complex systems. Previously experience from large and/or complex systems.
· A good communicator, easy to share the work done to the other team members
· Analytical mind with a great interest in the latest technology
· Advantageous to have
· Knowledge of different mobile technologies such as messaging, wap, streaming, audio, etc.
· Knowledge development tools such as CME, SDE, Fido.
