This group is dedicated to the discussion and preservation of the Channel F video game console and the VideoBrain computer. The Channel F, released in August 1976 by Fairchild Semiconductor, was the first video game console with programmable cartridges. The VideoBrain, released in 1977 by VideoBrain Computer Company, was the first home computer with programmable cartridges. Both used the Fairchild F8 CPU.
