Call for Telescopes and Volunteers for Hightower Trail Elementary's
SPACE CAMP, 2008.

Conyers, GA
When:
Friday, March 7, at 7 p.m. ish to about 10 p.m.
(Arrival time about 6 p.m. or so)

This is the 4th year they have invited us.
There will be about 100 4th graders plus a few parents and the faculty.
The kids will be brought out in groups of 20 or 25, broken up into
small groups for however many telescopes, and will rotate through all
the telescopes. Then the next group, etc.
It is fun and rewarding!
Let me know if you can help. You don't have to have a 'scope. Last
year my wife was given a class room so she could do her style of
presentation for the kids (see March 9, 2007 link below). You can have
a story to tell about Orion or do a class presentation ...
