This list is not for posting for sale ads!!! This is a list for folks who want to raise sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks etc. for food, for sale or as pets at the least possible cost and with a minimum of effort, but still humanely. Humane treatment means different things to different people. Extreme animal rights activism will not fit in here. If you think the answer is to spend more money or do more work just to fill up the time you have you may not like this list. Cheaper and easier will be two important words here.
Absolutely no politics or religion allowed. Critters for sale messages will not be accepted on this list!!!. "For sale" messages will be deleted and likely get you placed on moderated status for a while or removed and banned.

Do you process your pigs yourself? I want to raise pigs for meat but we would have to do the butchering ourselves and I'm not sure if I can deal with it.

Hi Molly, We got 2 piglets 2 weeks ago, the female was 1/3 bigger than the male, they were only 8 weeks old, and had been raised on milk and bread in a fenced

Livestock Guardian Puppies
8 week old Great Pyrenees/English Shepherd puppies avaiable to farm homes. 5 males 3 females. Pups in field with parents. Exposed to goats, cattle, birds.
