I have worked out a way to get the arrow keys back the same as X1 and that is to
use customise hot key and reasign nudge up-down-left-right for 2d & 3d views to
home - end - page up - page down keys and then assign pan window to ' 0 ' which
is just to the right of the arrow keys . Once done the arrow keys automatically
revert to moving the plan in all directions plus if you want to pan hit 0 and
pan with mouse. Nudging is just above on the keyboard with the home end page up
& down. Much better control and the same as X1 plus added nudge tool
