I've spent some time looking for switches.
Allied and Jameco carry Cherry.

Rooting through the Cherry catalog,
http://www.cherrycorp.com/english/switches/pdf/switch_cat.pdf
the following Cherry models look OK but double check numbers in the
Cherry catalog before you order as I seem to have some sort of
selective dyslexia when publishing part details. All have the
low-current, high reliability mechanism and none have the extra-long
lever that gives (the desirable) operating force below 30gf =1oz but
the long levers seem a bit unwieldy to me physically. Someone should
try those longer lever switches. All these Cherrys are a bit big in
the body except the DG23 and they're expensive.
DG23C1LA .504" long, 50ma, 30gf, straight lever
DB3AxxYY
DB3ExxYY
DB3CxxYY
DB3GxxYY
These are all .787" long, 100ma. xx is connector type (A1=solder),YY
is lever type. straight levers: YY=LB --> 30gf,MB-->25gf. faux
roller: UB-->30gf
(today Allied has 100 DB3CA1SC with real roller in stock)
DA3Ax1yy
DA3Cx1yy
.781" long, 100ma. x is terminal type: D=ss, H=PCB
yy is lever: LB=27gf straight, SB=30gf faux roller
E63-10H
E63-10R
E63-11H
E63-11R
all .781" long, 100ma. H is straight lever with 30gf
R is faux roller with 27gf; 10 is spdt, 11 is spst NO
all have solder terminals; subtract 10 from suffix
for quick connect (Jameco only has QC)
Soon I'll put up some Omron part numbers.
