Foldability is a separate issue from adjustability. Foldability is, I
think, mostly a matter of being able to collapse the back-of-hand
brace.
Adjustability is more than just a mechanical design issue. It's also
a user interface problem. As you've said on the website, a proper fit
is essential. So, should a "mere user" be expected to adjust seven
keys to fit their hand? If each of the seven keys has only five
possible positions, the purchaser has to choose from 390,000 choices.
If, on the other hand, somebody did the work to determine the optimial
positions for five different hand sizes, the purchaser only has to
choose from 5 choices. Small, medium, large, extra large, and 2XL.
