A discussion group for citizen science practitioners and organizers. Citizen scientists investigate and collect data that's shared with professional scientists and other citizen scientists. Birders doing Christmas Bird Count surveys, amateur astronomers observing variable stars, and water monitoring groups measuring the ecological health of their local watershed are all examples of citizen science.
