We've signed the contract for a second web server for the web

services of The Landmark Project.  The tech folks who host our

current web server assure us that a second server, sharing the load,

will handle the demands of Class Blogmeister, Citation Machine,

Rubric Machine, and the other less utilized services.



They'll be installing the server early next week, and then the

database administrators will do their thing on Wednesday.  At that

point, I will have to take Class Blogmeister, and the other services

down.  I'll spend the next couple of days entertaining family and

doing the programming to link the two servers together.  My plan is

to have it up by sometime on Friday, and possibly before.  Class

Blogmeister will be among the highest priorities.



One of the result of this will be a recombining of the blog

databases, so everything will be restored.

Once again, thank you so much for all you do.  Class blogmeister has become an

invaluable tool for us.  How wonderful that you work so hard to keep it

I set up an account at Starbucks and then copy and pasted the

account/card code that David has listed.

I have it on auto pilot in bill-pay. That way my aging brain doesn't

have to remember it!

David, I would also like to thank you for all that you do. My class

are having fabulous time blogging and the learning that takes place is

fantastic to see. Thanks also for this great yahoo group. So many of

my questions have been answered by just reading what others have

written and I have also picked up many ideas from other teachers and I

love the way everyone just stepped in and offers great suggestions and

solutions.
