screen, keyboard detaches as a cover. I just bought one
in good working order (despite "BAD" painted on the
keyboard), for $4. What's up with these things?

Tim

ny date is good for me to start a first chat. I
am on the computer most of the day any way so
starting January 11th I was thinking about comeing in in
the morning and opening the chat room for an hour and
see who stops in. Then maybe go ahead and do it in
the evening too, starting around 7 o'clock or there
about.

willy

willynwv@...
i John
welcome to the club. There isn't alot
going on here right at the moment. Maybe if we get a
few more people comeing thru we can get a chat
going.
From what you have listed it looks like you have a
nice collection of C=
stuff

willy
willynwv@...

really liked being able to use my C128. I'd still be using it if my primary
disk drive hadn't gone kaputt. *sigh* Sometime it'll be fixed and I'll have it
running again.
was just wondering how many of us still have
their Commodore hardware and use it regularly? I have a
C=64 and a C=64c and I use them both. I am also useing
Frodo PC for my
Emulator on my PC, but I am going
to switch to another more reliable one in the near
futre so I can download some of the programs that are
available on the web.
didn't get any takers on the free pet offer so
I took it to a local "ham fest" and left it at the
entrance with a "FREE" sign on it. When I left several
hours later it was gone. Hopefully it it's in a good
home.
have Frodo PC which I have used for about a
year now. I don't like it that much because it causes
a lot of crashes when I run it. I have also had
problems getting the d.64 files to run on
it.

willynwv.
might be interested in purchasing this PET
Computer. What model of PET? I am looking for a 2001 Model
(the one with the built in tape player and chicklet
keyboard). Is this the model you have?

Let me know.
You can email at

everal months ago I was driving down a nearby
street when I saw a saw a poster board sign that said
"Free Stuph" In the yard was a pile of old PCs, an IBM
correcting selectric typewriter, and an old Commodore Pet. I
took the IBM and the Pet. I don't want the Pet, but I
couldn't leave it there abandoned by the road. If any one
wants it, they can have it for the cost of shipping
plus $10 for the box and my trouble of taking it to
the UPS terminal. I don't know if it works, but it
looks fairly clean.....Any takers???
've tried most of the MSDOS emulators and one
windoze emulator. They were all ok but, I have a 25mhz
486sx, kind of slow, especially thewindoze version. I
was really suprized when I started looking for C64
stuff on internet, I foundquit a bit.
ry looking at
www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/schematics/computers/c128/index.html there's 4 or 5
schematics there. There's also a
lot of other stuff there. If you don't see what you
need there try looking in a few other directories.
This looks like a warehouse of all things CBM.
tried asking on comp.sys.cbm but no one ever
answered me. That's the problem with posting to groups
with a high volume...everyone assumes someone else
answered or doesn't read it in the first place.
*sigh*

Anyway I'll try on the web. Maybe someone put it up.
thanx
used to have a C64, but I picked up a C128 a
while back. Everything works but the 1571 drive. That
went a few years ago. Anyone have the schematics for
one? I'd really like to have it working again.
