this is a FAQ. Don't try this if your data is valuable and don't do
this to archive data. Wheras you can write and read from such disks
it's not a safe thing to do. The magnetic properties of the disc types
are different. I'm not quite sure of the details but this is a trick
many people will warn you not to mess with.

I don't know how easy 800k disks are to find anymore, so if you have to, you can use a 1.4M high density floppy. Just put a piece of tape over the hole...
