Hi Jim WOW is all I can say! Great classic photos of the Goto Post all
you have. There are many friends out here that would love to see them
thats for sure. The Cave is wonderfull also and should have great views.
A friend of mine Ron Pastory can be found on Astromart. He uses several
Cave Cass scopes in his reaseach and is a very helpfull person. Drop him
a PM he would love to disscuss the scope. Well since you have worked on
one of these beasts, the Goto You should know that Steve miller, a local
friend has the 1954 Prototype 6" Goto. Last weekend we moved the entire
scope from Morepark to Mount Pinos for Friday and Saturday night. Mount
Pinos is at 8500 feet and the seeing was historic!! The scope drew a
huge crowd and many locale astronimers caught the classic bug I am
sure... Well again thanks for the photos and keep us posted on the Big
