Hi,
I'll check to see if I have more photographs. I remember that I have a newspaper article when I did the restoration. The scope was 1961 and I installed the syncro drive since someone had destroyed the weight drive. Only one gear was left and who only knows if some kid used the rest for a science project. I asked the professor to rummage around for the gears but we didn't turn up anything. Great lines on the scope. I wonder how many were produced? Loved the controls under the OTA and the rope RA slew.
Regards,
Jim

Hi Jim,
Well, you have my interest peaked big time! That is the first 6" Goto
I have seen except for one in Japan damaged by an earthquake.
Do you have more pictures? Do you know who owns it now. I see it has
the oscillating electric clock drive. Do you remember the date on the
plaque? I can get it to a year or two based on the drive and the lack
of a cover for the RA gear.
