An Orion Circle T (339), huh?  I also have one of these – but paid a bit more for it.  I acquired a complete unit (original box and all) for $75 and I thought I’d gotten a good deal.  (I did).  But, you did a bit better. 

 

While the ubiquitous Towa 339 was imported and labeled with quite a few brands, the Orion version seems pretty scarce.  I’m not saying that makes it any more valuable than its cousins, just less common.  As you have found, there’s a reason these 80mm f15’s are held in such high esteem.  They provide great performance!  And unless the lens is pinched in the cell or astigmatic, the collimatable optics are first rate.  I have a number of older long-focus refractors, but the 80/1200 is my planet killer.

 

Your price was sure right.

Yeah, I think forgot to mention that I have a Tasco 10TE. It's also a Royal Astro instrument. I am also hard pressed to see any difference at the eyepiece...
